You are welcome to join any of our events as a prospective member.

SWL is:

• A diverse group of women supporting our community through voluntary service and
  support to nonprofit and educational organizations while building bonds of friendship.

• Noncommercial, nonsectarian and nonpartisan. 

• ​Eligible members: women age 21 and up living or working in Fort Bend County.  ​

• New members should share our goal to serve our community while building bonds of friendship.

ACTIVE Membership is:

• Membership year:  January 1 – December 31

• Service requirements for SWL-approved placements and activities are:

  • 20 hours annually –

    • women employed 30 hours or more per week

    • full time students taking 12 credit hours or more per semester

    • mothers/guardians of young children under five

  • 36 hours annually –

    • all other active members

• Active Member annual dues for 2026: $100​​​​​
