THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN JOINING SWL!   OUR FALL MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT PERIOD RUNS  SEPTEMBER 1 - NOVEMBER 30 EACH YEAR.  OUR SPRING MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT PERIOD IS JANUARY 1 - APRIL 30. OUTSIDE OF THESE ENROLLMENT PERIODS, WE WELCOME YOU TO ATTEND MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AS PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS.  CONTACT US AT MEMBERSHIP@SIENNAWOMENSLEAGUE.ORG IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING A MEETING.  

 

We are:

  • A diverse group of women supporting our community through voluntary service and support to nonprofit and educational organizations while building bonds of friendship.

  • Noncommercial, nonsectarian and nonpartisan. 

  • ​Eligible members: women age 21 and up living or working in southeast Fort Bend County. 

  • New members should share our goal to serve our community while building bonds of friendship.

  • Service requirements for SWL-approved placements and activities are:

    • 20 hours annually –

      • women employed 30 hours or more per week

      • full time students taking 12 credit hours or more per semester

      • mothers/guardians of young children under five

    • 36 hours annually –

      • all other members

New member entry periods and annual dues:  September 1 - November 30: $75; Jan 1 - April 30: $40 

 

Membership year:  January 1 – December 31

All members annual renewal period:  September 1 – October 31 (for next calendar year)

Membership meetings on second Wednesday evening of each month

  1. Review Rules, Requirements & Consent Form (link below).

  2. Complete Member Application and Pay Dues.

  3. Vice President of Membership will contact you to provide your SWL t-shirt and name tag.
