Serving Our Community While Building Friendships

Sienna Women’s League is a diverse group of women committed to help unite and better our surrounding communities through voluntary service and support of educational and non-profit charitable organizations.

On April 22, 2021, Sienna Women’s League planned to hold our inaugural “High Hats, High Heels, High Tea” fund-raising event for over 200 guests to benefit our focus charities.  Though COVID-19 has caused us to cancel our event, it cannot dampen our spirits!  Our High Tea co-chairs, Jenni Leonetti and Julie Moise; our faithful event financial sponsors, our members and silent auction donors are figuratively raising a cup of tea to celebrate journeying together to safely raise funds for our three charities – Hope For Three Autism Advocates, Houston Methodist Sugar Land Cancer Survivorship Center, and Shared Dreams, a part of the FBISD Collaborative Communities Program.

Sharing a cup of tea is a symbol of togetherness and caring.  Thank you to those who joined us by raising a cup and by bidding to give!

Thank You, Donors and Friends!

SWL's Back to School Drive, against the backdrop of a pandemic, went exceedingly well!  Viki Deardorff (above right), SWL drive co-chair, presents a grant check to Bobbie "Summer" Anderson, Community Liaison Coordinator for FBISD Collaborative Communities program.  Along with gathering a very significant amount of donated new school supplies and toiletries, we were able to raise cash and online donations for Shared Dreams, a part of the Collaborative Communities program.  We are so pleased with this accomplishment and want to send a big thanks to our drive chairs - Viki Deardorff, Alana Higginbotham and Teresa Guidry.  Their enthusiasm and great organization really helped make the drive a success.   Thanks so much to our onsite volunteers - Shirley Babineaux, Krissy Bonnette, Viki Deardorff, Elizabeth Hodges, Roseta Leonard, Laura Lincoln, Danielle Michaels, Laurie Payne, Joy Shively, Sherry Von Boeckmann and Nina Wetzel, as well as all our members who helped by giving donations of cash or school supplies.  We're also grateful to the students from Ridge Point High School who came out to assist.  A very special thanks goes to Chick-fil-A Sienna Crossing, Harvest Market Sienna and H-E-B Sienna!
